Mission Of the Week Planning Center Information

Mission Planning Center

Weekly mission plans for squadrons/flights/etc.

#1. Layout & Concept:

Fly a few missions with me and some others to test out the 'fun factor' of some offline competition.  Concept, easy-peasy;  follow the guidelines, download the mission and install it, FLY IT.  Have fun doing it.  Sorry, be fair, NO repeating it or practice runs before coming back here and heading to our mission/Intelligence debriefing hut to 'debrief' and 'tell us' how your mission went (the FIRST run at it!)   ;D ;D ;D

Play it for real and try your best to get as much of the excitement/realness factor of it into it as you can.  Then report back here so we can ALL compare (come-on....give it a good HONEST try with NO fudging!)   And if you managed pictures during the mission, feel FREE to post them up, if not, that's okay too just a general description of how your mission went will suffice.

#2. Needed IL2 Game Version:  At least a version of 4.12 that will run the mission (for now were trying to stay with like 4.12/5.30 SAS Mod-Act, or 4.12/VP's add-on pack, or maybe even 4.12 with CUP or BAT if it will run the mission.

#3. Mod-additions or not:  At the present we're NOT running any mods in these Single Player Missions.

#4. Gameplay & Rules:  Just download from the DL location and install via the mission's Single Player Install instructions.  Then, at your leisure, PLAY the mission as is *NO CHANGING the mission planes/loadouts/parameters/etc...use as the mission maker intended and follow his instructions laid out in the BRIEFING screen.  Do your best to complete the mission and survive, but if you can't or don't, no big deal... follow up here by reporting your results and tell us if you had a good time flying/fighting.  Again, no big deal if you get waxed...lol...you can resurrect yourself the NEXT new mission!

Small Stuff:  Just have fun flying... and have even more fun comparing YOUR mission results to other pilots!  PS, be sure give us some details of what happened on your mission and PLEASE be sure and post your score so we can compare it to everyone else's!

So many of us collect hundreds of missions and campaigns that we hardly have time to play. This is a great way to give incentive to try some of them, and they don't take long, especially if you die quickly!
I know it is not the same as flying together but it brings to light some interesting missions that might be flown. I guess the clever ones will watch the debriefs and fly accordingly. Together we are doing what is intended. Fly and have fun.

Yes, so far they're missions available at M4T …If you look under the specific mission date here in THIS SECTION of the site, you'll see (MISSON BRIEF for blah, blah, blah,) you'll note the date the mission was posted for, as well as the name of the mission, the M4T MISSION download page link (go there to get it) and various notations/info about the mission.  Download, install, then at your leisure PLAY the mission... one time only please (to be fair), do your best, then report back here under the MISSON DEBRIEF for that mission to tell us how you did including any planes you shot down and any points you earned in the game and of course other important info.

Easy Peasy!

 ;)

I  would give it a try so long as I had the necessary mods. WWI mods can be hit or miss unless you use a pack like BAT DOF.

Sorry, Otto, I don't have a WW1 on my CUP install, just jets (JTW) and WW2 (WAW).
I'd lost my clean 'vanilla' IL2 in a broken old hard drive, both backups have the CUP 4.12.2 INSIDE. 😯😥😥

Hi Otto, hi everyone! I've been away for a couple of months, to rest my eyes from the fatigue produced by the screens. But here you have me again, wanting to fly your WWI mission. I would use BAT DOF.

I hope that all of you are in good health, safe in your homes.
Best regards

Gentlemen, this section has been resting and gathering dust for a while. I am working on new missions (old missions revised, corrected and updated) so that we can get back to this healthy weekly sports habit. Soon. Health to all of you!
