Aviation related combat has been a HUGE factor in wars for many long years now... and yet if you think about it, ---not that long either. Especially to have grown and become the fantastically advanced all consuming powerhouse of the 20th Century that it has... really, only a few years ago our planes could barely stagger into the air. Now, they actually going 'into' orbit (more or less) and at speeds no one could have even comprehended only a few years ago! (lol... secret Alien technology?)
